The "official" crowd count seems to include only those folks in the area directly in front of the stage. There were at least double that in the vast surrounding area, up on the hills, along the dirt roadways, between the RVs, and just about anywhere you get into the venue. It was a crowd, and absolutely no parking. My partner and I could not get close enough to the stage to get a good picture of Sarah Palin. If one of my friends will allow, I may be able to post a couple. Just what is a TEA Party anyway?
Folks walked miles from roadside parking to get to the event site. There was a formation of five airplanes doing the skywriting; excellent job!
US95 was a parking lot! I can't wait to see some of the private videos from the surrounding hilltops. Look for 'em on youtube.com And there are even more pictures here.
About "TEA Party Leadership" ... forget it. We don't need leadership; coordinators, sure. We know what to do: Eject elected officials who do not adore the U. S. Constitution. Elect officials who are vehement supporters of the U. S. Constitution! Objective: Get government out of the way! Any questions? |
